States are redrawing their district lines, here's how it's supposed to work
Last week, the Supreme Court handed down a ruling that is about to change the way almost tens of millions of Americans are represented in Congress.

It means that as many as 11 states are about to redraw their House of Representatives district lines, a process known in the politics biz as redistricting.
You’re about to hear a lot about it. Nerds like me will be all over your screens and feeds, sweatily talking about proportions and seats and math. Lots of math.
